I was really inspired by Neo-Futuristic architecture. Especially the work of Zaha Hadid. I wanted to design an apartment building that is completely self sufficient through solar power, and that collects water/filters waste through gardens placed on the main outdoor levels. The giant solar panel that runs up the side of the building and over the main outdoor area doubles as a sun shade during the afternoon hours of the day.
